My name is Adam Saari and I am an amateur backyard astrophotographer located in Southeast Wisconsin. Below are several galleries of astrophotography images I have taken since 2020.
Typically, nebula images require at least three hours of exposure time to have a decent signal-to-noise ratio. While that’s the minimum, there’s no such thing as too much data.
2024 Calendars
The 2024 Calendar is now available for order! This calendar contains 12 of the deep space images that I have captured in the last year, from galaxies to dust clouds.
This calendar also highlights popular astronomical events like moons phases, eclipses, meteor showers, and equinoxes/solstices.

A typical deep-sky astrophotography setup includes a mount, telescope or lens, camera, and other accessories that help to run the camera for hours at a time. My personal astrophotography setup has evolved over the last year.
